OUR CONDO IS ON THE MARKET!

Things are moving right along! Our condo is on the market fully furnished, right down to the Starbucks coffee cups in the cabinet! I love my home. This place has been a sanctuary for my daughter and me, but we both feel it is time to give it up and go! When it is time, God knows how to change your mind! There was a time when having a home was the most important thing to me and not entirely without cause. (I have lived a pretty interesting life but you will have to read my book to find out all about it. Unfortunately, I have not written it yet so it may be a while before you become privy to all that lies within! Just know that it will be a great read as well as an edge-of-your-seat Lifetime TV movie or late night horror film...genre still to be determined!) And God did bless us with a home that has been a true blessing and place of peace. Now I am hoping to pass that peace on to the next occupant. Pray with us for the right person or family to purchase our home. We desire to see someone else blessed by this place in the same way that we have been.

Thank you for your prayers!

WE ARE SERIOUS NOW!

Hi My Fellow Adventurers!

A comment was made this week regarding this new direction in my life. At a time when things should be slowing down, my life is just beginning! I feel born again--again! Thursday morning while driving to work and praising God loudly in my car, I had the sudden impulse to stop the car, get out and dance in the street, reminiscent of David in the Old Testament. I am filled with awe at the fact that God is not finished with me yet! He is so good!

As you know my daughter and I have been approved by PAZ Japan! And this past Tuesday, we met with the Elders of our church, Denver United, to share our heart and receive their blessing and prayer covering. It means so much to us that we have the support of our church family!

Jenny and I are so excited to be a part of the revival that is beginning in Japan and we desire your prayers, more than ever! I would love for you to join with me in this endeavor. Please pray to see if God would have you support me financially. I would be blessed by your donation of any amount, whether it is a one-time gift or monthly donation.

Many of you have asked what my immediate needs are. I hope to embark in early June. This is contingent on the sale of our condo and Jenny's car. Please agree with us for the perfect buyers and quick sales.

Initial monetary needs will include: airline tickets to Japan, apartment deposit and key money, space appropriate furniture--an apartment will be very small--somewhere between 200 and 400 square feet which my daughter and I will share. Other initial fees will include utilities, phone and internet set up,  and Japanese healthcare insurance.

According to the PAZ Japan Mission Director, after my initial fees are paid, my basic living expenses should be around US$1,000.00/month. However, it is my hope that I will not only live but be a blessing to the Japanese people as well.

To make a tax deductible donation online, please visit: PAZ Japan | Donation. My name is listed on the "donate to" drop-down menu. Please note, if you change from "monthly donation" to "one-time gift", the drop-down menu will default back to the PAZ Japan general fund. So you will need to select my name again. Thank you so much for your support!

We Have Been Approved!

Hi Friends and Adventurers!

My daughter and I have been approved to join PAZ Japan! We are very excited and anticipate all that God has in store! Pray for us and God's direction and timing as we sell our house and prepare to leave. Our hope is that we will embark in June after visiting close friends and relatives.

I also invite you, my blog readers, to pray and see if God would impress on you to support this endeavor financially. All the logistics are being worked out and soon we will have a tax deductible status. I will post that information when it is available.

Until then, Many Blessings!
